Handling Disputes
When to Initiate a Dispute
- Someone else registered your work first
- You believe a transfer was fraudulent
Step 1: Open the Dispute Form
Find the record in your portfolio, click Dispute.
Step 2: Fill in Details
- Describe why you’re challenging
- Attach supporting evidence if possible
⚖️ Legal Note:
On-chain disputes are public and time-stamped. Only serious, good-faith disputes should be filed.
Step 3: Submit & Track
- Smart contract records your dispute
- Parties are notified for resolution
- Outcome and evidence are public
🟪 Best Practice:
Always keep off-chain evidence (contracts, emails, etc.) to support your case.
